Our Spring Issue of Residents News has landed and is full of the latest information from us. This edition contains key updates including a letter from Matthew Applegate, important dates for your diary, and an updated column from our Involved Residents.

We teamed-up with Travis Perkins Managed Services (TPMS) to provide funding to support Youth Concern’s vital work in Aylesbury.

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘Inspire Inclusion’, with the campaign seeking to collectively create a more inclusive world for everyone, not only women. We asked some of our employees about their achievements in Housing and their opinions on the #InspireInclusion message.

We’ve recently marked a milestone in our latest affordable property development In Aylesbury with a brick laying ceremony. 

Last week, we had the pleasure of introducing Rob Butler MP to three of our apprentices, Georgia, Jake and Rory, all studying in different fields, to chat about their experiences and opportunities as part of the National Apprenticeship Week discussion.

Springboard Grants are available to any of our residents and come under the Thriving Communities Fund. This type of grant offers residents up to £300 to support opportunities for wellbeing, education, training, or employment. 

Volunteering plays an essential role in shaping our services. Our resident volunteers influence positive change and make a big difference for other residents, and members of the community.

We are pleased to announce that we have been re-awarded the Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) Accreditation for the next three years, a recognition we received back in December.

With the colder weather expected to continue over the coming weeks, we know it can cause issues in your home and may result in higher call volumes to our Contact Centre.

We recently collaborated with the Alzheimer's Society to host a 'Dementia Friends' session for our residents.
